9/19/2023 0 Comments Does twitch still automute mods![]() ![]() ![]() And sorry we speak in a way you in cant involve yourself in. Or maybe a paranoid one who thinks we were telling secrets about you? Sorry- but youre not that important that strangers use foreign languages just to talk crap about you. Its only different cuz youre an unaccepting person. Sorry 1 line of different among thousands offended your eyes. Not wanting different in your eyeline cuz u dont understand it is entitlement. And they are fine.īut seeing spanish is differnt? Why? Jus like the other convos- that u arent involved in- it has nothing to do with you- jus let it scroll by. When inquired - i got trolled and mocked.Īnd yes- everyone can see the chat- but everyone can see hundreds of convos in the same room that have nothing to do with them. I actually said id be watching differnt streamers. I never said anything about screw the rules im doing what i want. But somehow seeing things you cant involve yourself in offends you so its a no-noĪlso- ive gained an understanding for the rules and accepted them. And you miss much of the stream trying to talk each other- defeating the purpose all together.Īnd why should we get to do that? Lol. Yeah we cooda had private chat- but had no idea we were breaking rules- and on a phone- flipping back and forth between multiple apps to watch or chat is a pain. There were no rules that popped up and had me agree before chatting. They just deleted our chat and said speak english. Do you read the rules for every single streamer you watch? Doubtful. Or that streamers had their own rules for every individual chat. Silly me.Īnd nobody said “this an english only chat” before entering the room. When i made the post- i was under the impression its was all a public chat- for a world wide public game. And ive admitted that in here repeatedly. No standards.Īnd anyone can say its the other parties fault or job to handle it.įirst- i didnt know streamers set their own rules. If youve been using it for years its prolly par for the course- or if u jus put the stream on and let it run for drops its fine… but to a new user that wants to chat its just run terribly. And mods arent polite and dont explain anything. Them being set up as independants with their own room rules is not clear at all to new users. Their mods like power trips- and they explain nothing. Yet people can run rampant with foul language and mocking of others. Ive had issue with twitch mod banning me before because i asked about someone else deleted text- they said i started an argument- i was literally jus asking how the chat worked and i recieved a 10 min ban. Nothing was done about the mocking- and not for nuthin- its a lot of trolls on their constantly. So i do however take issue with how twitch does things now. Twitch sets all that up one way or another… but it seems to be set up so everyone involved can pass the buck to another party. ![]() ![]() I understand the streamers themselves dont have a drops partnership- but i thot twitch did. I can watch spanish language streams with them- but no top players are ever in spanish so wed jus be watching some random guy… itd be nice to watch the top players and be able to speak freely is all. Thats their choice… i disagree but it is was it is. I have no particular issue with the streamer ither than they dont want english. It’s linked to the game and not the person. You have options and no streamer out there actively did anything to be a drops provider other than picking OW as a stream subject. On the flip side of that you could find someone streaming who follows rules you can abide and still get the drops. I could stream OW right now and you could earn drops on my stream but have to follow MY rules. Nobody who hosts drops is any kind of exclusive “partner” either. People suck out there but for everyone that’s mean there are just as many nice people. I’d also like to let you know that most chats have something you have to agree to before chatting which USUALLY outlines their rules AND in their info usually have posted rules. This wasn’t particularly polite… but it was pretty cut and dry what they wanted. No “heres the rules” or “this streamer has asked for english only” The mod (or bot?) Said “english only” in like 20 languages. ![]()
